Tick Talk Tuesdays Podcast
Can One Conversation Change Your Life?
We believe it can.
Welcome to Tick Talk Tuesdays, where science meets hope, education meets empowerment, and no question is too small (except maybe a tick... and even they cause big problems).
Each week, hosts Christie Korth and Jessica Semiken Wick sit down with leading clinicians, researchers, advocates, patients, and caregivers to discuss Lyme disease, tick-borne illnesses, nutrition, functional medicine, patient advocacy, and the latest research—all while keeping the conversation informative, relatable, and occasionally laughing so we don't cry.
Whether you're newly diagnosed, a seasoned Lyme warrior, a healthcare professional, or just trying to figure out why the tick won the first round... you're in the right place.

Music: The Soundtrack Behind the Story
Music has always been at the heart of my life.
Growing up, I played flute alongside my father in his bands and began performing professionally at just 12 years old. Those early years taught me that music isn't just something you hear—it tells stories, preserves memories, and gives a voice to emotions that words alone can't express.
Today, after years of personal health battles, advocacy, and caring for others, I've rediscovered that same passion in a new way. While my flute may not always play exactly as it once did, the music has never left me. I continue to compose, arrange, and write original songs inspired by my family's journey, the resilience of the Lyme community, and the belief that hope can always be found—even in life's hardest chapters.
Every song tells a story.
Some will make you laugh.
Some may bring you to tears.
All of them come from the heart.
My hope is that these songs remind you that healing, perseverance, and a little music can carry us farther than we ever imagined.

🕷️ Check Your Crack
A lighthearted educational rap reminding everyone that tick checks are serious business—even if learning about them doesn't have to be.
🎤 F Lyme & Co.
A high-energy anthem for every Lyme warrior who's ever refused to give up. A celebration of resilience, determination, and fighting forward.
🌙 Make It To The Moon
An emotional tribute to my father, whose words to me as a little girl—"If we work out hard enough, we can go to the moon."—became the philosophy that carried our family through every impossible challenge. This later carried over to my son, who was the reason I stayed alive...
🦠 The Ballad of The Tiny Tick
A theatrical, storybook-style adventure that turns one of nature's smallest villains into an unforgettable musical tale filled with humor, imagination, and awareness.
🧱 Brick by Brick
A heartfelt reminder that healing, rebuilding, and creating a meaningful life doesn't happen overnight—it happens one choice, one lesson, one conversation, and one brick at a time.
❤️ A Personal Note
These songs are more than music to me.
They're chapters of my life, memories of my family, and reflections of the people who helped shape me. Whether I'm sharing a laugh through parody, honoring my father's legacy, or writing about overcoming illness, each melody carries a story that I hope encourages someone else to keep moving forward.
Because sometimes...
one song can become one conversation...
And one conversation really can change a life.
